Local Courses on Content Knowledge: Problem Solving & Financial Maths

The Project Maths Development Team, is pleased to offer this modular course on Problem Solving & Financial Mathemathics .

The course will focus on new elements of the syllabus, methodology and provide student centered activities.

The course will cover topics from Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate syllabus.

– For teachers of Junior and Senior Cycle mathematics (all levels)

– Participants will have practical advice on how to approach Problem Solving in the Classroom

– Problem Solving questions (and solutions) for Junior and Leaving Certificate students supplied, covering all Strands

– Applications of Geometric Sequences and Series with particular emphasis on Financial Maths

– 4 modules of 2.5 hours each

– Delivered by experienced maths teachers

– Attendance will be certified
