Local Courses on Content Knowledge: Inferential Statistics & Functions

The Project Maths Development Team, is pleased to offer this fifth modular course which deals with Inferential Statistics & Functions. The course will focus on elements of the syllabus from 2014 and 2015, methodology and also provides student centered activities. The sessions will cover material from the Leaving Certificate syllabus.
All attendance will be certified.
Modules (4 x 2.5 hours each)
- For teachers of Senior Cycle mathematics (all levels)
- Participants will have practical advice on how to approach the Teaching & Learning of Statistics based on the Leaving Certificate syllabus (2014 & 2015)
- The course discusses, Confidence Intervals, Hypothesis Testing (& p-Values) also includes a final module on Functions
- Delivered by experienced maths teachers
- All attendance will be certified
