SMART MATHS CAREERS COMPETITION

The NCE-MSTL and CareersPortal.ie in association with DSE are running a Smart Careers Poster Competition for Junior Cycle 1st and 2nd year students and the closing date for entry forms is March 9th 2011.
This is a poster competition to discover the reality behind real careers and an opportunity for students to discover how Science or Mathematics is used in a career of their choice – the competition is for Junior Cycle 1st and 2nd year students to explore a career of their choice and present their findings on a poster (or a powerpoint slide) for a chance to win super prizes – with amazing Apple iPads, iTouchs and iPods all up for grabs! The student will tell us how important and relevant Science or Mathematics are for the work (just about all careers need some science or mathematics!) in their chosen career.
