Looking at Tallaght through Maths Eyes.
Maths Eyes encourages teachers, parents and children to look at the world through Mathematical Eyes and to realise that we all use maths every day. Many people have a negative view of mathematics from their own experience of school mathematics and often see mathematics as being abstract and not relevant to their everyday life.
Looking at Tallaght through Maths Eyes is a community initiative that aimed to show people , through a variety of fun activities, that in fact without realising it they use maths all of the time and are probably much better at maths than they realise.
This year the programme is much more ambitious and have partnered with The Digital Learning Hub to create a website which is full of resources to help develop Maths Eyes. Click the link to view the website www.haveyougotmathseyes.com.
